Make it your job to make a difference: Become a foster carer

Do you ever wish your job changed lives? Then consider a new career as a foster carer. By offering a vulnerable child the care that only a family can bring, you will begin a promising new career at the same time as changing a young person’s future.

Scotland needs 1000 new foster families to avoid a care crisis in 2012. Kibble Education and Care Centre’s Intensive Fostering Service (IFS) is tackling this crisis by finding foster places in the community for some of Scotland’s most disadvantaged young people.

IFS is committed to supporting carers and young people in care. We offer far-reaching support that includes a school place for all young children along with evening and weekend group activities and comprehensive training for carers. With IFS, you have the peace of mind that comes from being part of a supportive and joined up service.

Look out for our Fostering information stands at local shopping centres in the Paisley and Glasgow areas - if you see us, please stop for a chat, and we'd love to answer any questions you may have.
